i'm not even an outdoorsy person but honestly
making or buying these shoes should be no one's priority

and imagine the resources, the time and energy
put into the marketing division advertising it to me
and into this water repellent material
that makes my rubber boots feel inferior

nobody needs a sneaker you can wear underwater
you just go fucking barefoot into the water,
like we've done for a million years
and focus and the real problems on this planet
cause there are enough of them
